Grant's quilt, March 2022.  Grant requested that we make him a quilt.  He and his family enjoy visiting the National Parks.  Amber was able to find fabric with the different national parks represented.  Doug created designs using animals that are found in the parks.

I found this large piece of fabric and decided to do a simple quilt.  Really cute material.  I think I initially used it to make an apron for Audrey when she was a little girl.  After I finished binding it, I found a stack of this fabric cut into squares with contrasting fabric.  Too bad I had not seen it sooner, I could have made the quilt larger and with contrasting fabric.  But it is a cute little quilt anyway.

Using up flannel - The first is yellow fabric against flannel with bees on it.  The bees are adorable.  The second quilt is called a rag quilt.  Pretty simple to sew.  No binding required.   January 2024

Cardinal looking in the window.  This is a panel.  All we needed to do was add batting and a backing and then quilt.  Just in time for Christmas 2024
